Wendy is a keen walker who walks on the tracks and trails in the local parks and reserves. She is a coordinator at a local Neighbourhood House for a Weekend Walking Group.

Wendy is a speaker with a couple of local Neighbourhood Houses for topics of local interest.

On 8 November 2024, as a member of Asian Australian Lawyers Association (AALA) Wendy attended its National Cultural Diversity Summit 2024.

On 2 April 2025, Wendy attended a networking night co-organized by AALA, Filipino Australian Lawyers Association (FALAW) and King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) and caught up with many culturally diverse legal professionals and University law students.

Legal community.

On 18 November 2024, Wendy attended Eastern Community Legal Centre (ECLC)’s AGM 2024 to celebrate its 50th Anniversary of services.

At the beginning of her career, Wendy was a keen volunteer and night-time service coordinator at ECLC for many years initially located in Blackburn, later relocated to Box Hill. Wendy has benefited so much from this opportunity given by ECLC and is currently making an arrangement to go back for further volunteering opportunity as a lawyer.

On 6 February 2025, as a member, Wendy attended Eastern Solicitors Law Association (ESLA)’s New Year Wellbeing and Networking event; and connected many amazing practitioners.

On 28 February 2025, Wendy attended Deakin University Law School Juris Doctor Networking event as one of the alumni; and reconnected with Deakin staff , lecturers and other past and current JD students.

Local business community.

On 4 April 2025, it was a pleasure that Wendy was invited to attend a function organized by Whitehorse Business Group, during which Wendy met many people from all walks of life.
